I am standing in the dark.shaking. on a 40cm edge, facing the dark nothing that opens up in front of me. I carefully sit down and overcome myself to take a glimpse into the black hole. 12 meters below me I can barely see doctors headlight disappear in the tunnel. 12 meters. No stairs. No ladder. Just crumbly old metal construction tubes with their rivets to hold on.How the fuck did I agree to do this? This is like suicide. If i slip, i die for sure. I should leave right now. I could be in bed with my girl now.Why do I end up in these situations again and again?I arrived to London just a couple of hours before with the one and only intention of this spot. But all I can think of now is to give up.This well known feeling seems to become the big topic of my travels to the British capital. Every action turns out to be a bit loco… if not completely insane. While we are driving through all these neighborhoods around the city with all those tiny houses, the foxes sneaking through the streets, it becomes hard to imagine this gigantic village happens to be one of the most surveilled cities in the world.Barbed wire. Layered fences.Securities making their rounds. Cameras and sensors. Workers in the sheds. The gaps in the system seem to be so small. Tiny small. And yet my friends tend to find them. Mural realized in 2016 with @galerie_saint_laurent La Madre Secular is a lay representation of the Madonna, where the sacred remains outside the religious context and stands as something possible without breaking the laws of nature. An allegory to the era of knowledge and scepticism.Extract from Inti’s monography.2nd pic: @inti_cl (sketch of the mural)Inti has painted 3 Madre Secular in 2016 : the first one in Marseille, the second one in Paris in June and the last one in Lisbon, Portugal. Some people say that this work is not finished if you have a look at the bottom of the painting and if you compare with other murals he painted, some other say it is done on purpose. Only the artist knows. Anyway Inti’s works simply bring sunshine to the districts where they are located ✨_______________________________________________________#streetart #dopeshotbro #graffiti #urbanart #streetartist #streeteverywhere #streetartistry #rsa_graffiti #dsb_graff #tv_streetart #graff #graffiti #graffitiart #graffitilovers #streetartlovers #streetartandgraffiti #urban #urbanart #wallart #mural #urbanwalls #instagood #streetphotography #jj_urbanart #latergram #graffitiporn #streetartmarseille #igersmarseille #inti (à Marseille, France)artpornmagazine:‪Emre Cebeci‬ Artporn Magazine is on Facebookthcrstlshp:Unreal installation by the one and only @jr in London.@Regranned from @carottelisa - GIANT installation by @jr for his upcoming show at @lazinc_, can’t wait to see it! #art #installation #giant #exhibition #jr #lazarides #gallery #london - #regrann https://www.instagram.com/p/Bdqo7suj0Tt/lustik:Images by flecce.lustik:Images by flecce.lustik:Images by flecce.lustik:Images by flecce.graffitishop:Scopri tutte le novità nel nostro shop online! www.graffitishop.itallpublicart:An amazing art work “Lisa” in Richmond, USA by the talented young Belgian-American street artist and filmmaker, Nils Westergard, based in Richmond, Virginia.
